026 - smells like music
Let's pretend I'm going to learn how to make some music.
Well let’s do some research!
I'll begin with searching for harmonies and pitches, I really like harmonies. How do they do that? How about semitones, how impressive! circle of fifths I gotta know that! and how about a suspended 7th. Bach, Blondie, the Beatles and Beethoven.
Hmm, what's the best guitar?
What’s the best song? - Of all time*
Where’s the best school for music?
Best Broadway musical?
How can I meet people that went to school for music?
What’s the right way to write a song?
What’s the best way to get signed?
Ok, Now I'm at the guitar store, buying a drum set, signing up for piano lessons.
I go home and my apartment is full of special edition Rockstar Pro Edition Guitars and the Nilsson Signature Fender Amplifier
“I know the name of all the people who produced Dark Side of the Moon.”
I have a signed radio copy of Quiet Riot’s first album.

Google: “how to write songs”
Ok, I think I got it, let’s think of some rhymes.
"spiritual… lyrical…. miracle… individual…"
wow that’s cool, songs rhyme right?
do you like me more now?
How about a mandolin?
I'm going hunting this weekend in hopes to catch a deer. I read the skin would be perfect to stretch over my handmade Ludwig custom shop snare.
Maybe I'll learn to play.
That’s the way you do it.
Is this making music? nah… It kinda has a similar odor though, doesn’t it?
