015 - how to create value

I once bought a radio with a broken volume knob for $2.
The gajillion dollar question - how can someone create value?
Start by understanding value is more than dollars. Its proximity, availability - its timeliness and utility - knowledge and understanding. The fanciest most expensive research equipment in the world has little value if no one knows how to use it. Price does not equal Value.
Make, modify, create, repair, move, clean or learn something. Organize!
Take a quick inventory, then start with cleaning or organizing. - For the most part its free, other than time. Tremendous value can be created simply by pulling something into the light and cleaning it up.
Is there a repair you've been putting off? Can you get rid of anything?
What problems in your immediate vicinity can you solve?
It might be obvious, but the more we take care of our stuff the more value it has when it comes time to earn.
By doing these things you are creating value.
I just couldn't turn it down.
